Psalm 1:1-3
"Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight [...
In many ways, a plant is like a machine that changes the energy of sunlight into food energy that is needed by the rest of the living world. The energy which runs the plant is light. Now, if you...

The Faith of Radiometric Dating

Author:
By Curt Sewell

"How can creationists expect people to accept a young earth when science has proved through radiometric dating that the earth is billions of years old?"

This article addresses that question, which represents the thinking of a large number of people today.

Promoters of the Humanist Ideal

1. From Genesis 4:3-5 we see that Abel was a keeper of the sheep while Cain was a tiller of the ground so it would seem quite reasonable for Cain to have brought a grain or fruit offering but this displeased the Lord. From Genesis 3:21 where God made coats of skin for Adam and Eve, it is clear that an animal must have been sacrificed with blood shed to do so. Although unstated in this context, God had given instructions for the sin offering with shed blood thus Cain's unbloody offering was fundamentally unacceptable.

The Pre-Flood World, Part 2

Author:
Ian Taylor

1. Following the Fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden, God pronounced the curse, firstly as it would affect the serpent, then Eve, then Adam. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you [the serpent] and the woman, and between your seed [serpent's seed] and her seed [Jesus]; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. When the sainted Jerome (A.D.347-419) translated the Hebrew to produce the Latin Vulgate Bible there was a slip of one letter in the Latin pronoun ipse (his) to ipsa (her).

The Creation of Man

Author:
Pastor Paul A. Bartz

Genesis 1 gives us an overview of the creation of everything, including man. But man is of such importance in the creation (a point which evolutionists deny), that God uses most of Chapter 2 to focus in on additional details on the creation of the humankind. We can learn a lot about who and what man is from these details. Before going any further with the study read Genesis 2:7-25 to get an overview of our topic.

Rebutting the World's Most Famous Atheist

Author:
Mark Cadwallader

Richard Dawkins, the world's most famous out-of-the-closet living atheist and evolutionary biologist, said in an interview with Salon Magazine: "For a long time it seemed clear to just about everybody that the beauty and elegance of the world seemed to be prima facie evidence for a divine creator. The Pre-Flood World, Parts 1 & 2

Author:
Ian Taylor

1. The Fall of man took place in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve had been created in perfection in a perfect world; they were physically perfect and quickly becoming full of God's wisdom. There were three kinds of tree in the Garden: trees to provide food, the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life. Satan tempted Eve where she was most vunerable: pride. He offered the opportunity for Adam and Eve to obtain wisdom without having to go to God each time; they would thus be independant.

Prominent British Scientists

Author:
Luther D. Sunderland

Three former staunch evolutionists have recently publicly challenged the basic foundations of evolution theory. Astronomers Sir Fred Hoyle and Chandra Wickramasinghe and palenotologist Colin Patterson have put the scientific world into a spin by renouncing essential tenets of the very theory on which they had built their careers without accepting the creation alternative.

The Power And Mission Of The Word Of God

Author:
Paul A. Bartz

1. It is a wonderous thing for us human beings to have the Word of God, that very same powerful Word which formed the stars in space out of nothing and charged them with their incredible energy, among us for our use in the form of the Bible. Hebrews 11:3 gives us some sense of this power of the Word of God. The world in which we live is very real and it contains some incredible forces. Yet it, along with the stars, are all a result of God's directive use of that powerful Word.
