1. The discovery of the colored peoples by the Caucasian Christian West in the 16th century caused some to doubt that the Genesis Flood had been universal since the only family on the Ark were surely Caucasion! Later, at the time of the Industrial Revolution and during the search for coal and minerals, it was realized that rocks appeared in layers or stratum, each of different composition from those layers above and below.

Many people associate the study of science with evolution. For this reason they think that science is unbiblical or even evil. But is this really the case?

More than one Christian has pictured heaven as a place where the saved will lie about all day, perhaps strumming a harp while sitting on a cloud.  Many, at least, see heaven as one big permanent vacation.  But could we really be happy with nothing to do—forever?  Does the Bible portray work as a necessary evil which is a result of sin entering the world?

Psalm 8:4 asks, “What, then, is man, that Thou art mindful of him?”  This Psalm is a wealth of information about who and what man is and his place in the creation. Let’s take a look at it.
