The Snake that Fishes in the Desert
Psalm 104:27
“These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give [them] their meat in due season.”
The intelligence of the interrelationships between three unrelated desert creatures gives witness to the fact that there is a single, all-wise Creator of all things. Today we want to tell you about...

God's Plan For The Family: Husband And Wife/Parents

Author:
Pastor Steven T. Cook

As God created all things, He also instituted the family. We will consider in this study what His plans are for the family. After all, if He established it, He would be the best source of information on how the family should function.

1.Read Genesis 1:27-28 and 2:21-24. Describe the family God began here. What members of the family are listed?

One wit pointed out that we find, at creation, God created one man and one woman: He didn't make Adam, Eve and Sue just in case. Nor was it Adam, Eve and Sam just in case.

Noah's Three Sons

Author:
Ian Taylor

1. Genesis 6:9 states that Noah was "perfect in his generations." It has been suggested this means that Noah and his family [the ninth generation after Adam] were the few left on Earth who were genetically uncontaminated by the B’NAI HA’ELOHIM [sons of God, Genesis 6:2]. Noah’s family could  thus be used by God to re-build the human family and provide a pure heritage for the Messiah. God warned Adam that if he ate the forbidden fruit “on that day you will surely die” [Gen. 2:17] but as God’s “day” is as a 1000 years [2 Peter 3:8] Adam died at 930 years.

Freud: The Darwin of the Human Psyche

Author:
Ian Taylor

Charles Darwin, Sigmund Freud and Karl Marx have often been regarded as that unholy trinity who, in the last century, laid the foundation for today's pagan society. Darwin gave the world biological evolution in 1859. Freud later developed the notion to give us the evolution of the human psyche, while at about the same time Marx told us how society would evolve. The following short exposé shows the important influence of Darwin on Freud's thinking and includes some very recent disclosures.

Is Work a Necessary Evil?

More than one Christian has pictured heaven as a place where the saved will lie about all day, perhaps strumming a harp while sitting on a cloud.  Many, at least, see heaven as one big permanent vacation.  But could we really be happy with nothing to do—forever?  Does the Bible portray work as a necessary evil which is a result of sin entering the world?

Christianity in the Third Millennium

Author:

1. Introduction. Since the Creation Satan has had an agenda to replace the Creator God as the object of Man’s worship by himself. We recall that Man was made in the image of God and needs to worship his Creator. Satan’s attack has consisted of destroying God’s revealed truth to Man (the Bible) then so corrupting Man that Satan himself may be deified as God on earth.

Cavemen: Ancestor Or Offspring?

Author:
Robin Fish

Textbooks often depict our "evolutionary ancestors" as brutish, savage apemen who dwelled in caves. Every couple of years the scientific world is excited by the discovery of fossil remains of a supposed ancestor of man. Each new discovery is, in its turn, debunked: proven to be modern man or some form of ape. But the public impression of the "caveman" as man's ancestor remains, unshaken by the discrediting of the supposed proofs.

1. What can the creationist make of these cavemen?

Is it possible to describe them in some other way than as the evolutionary precursor to man?

Compromise and the Faith

1. The discovery of the colored peoples by the Caucasian Christian West in the 16th century caused some to doubt that the Genesis Flood had been universal since the only family on the Ark were surely Caucasion! Later, at the time of the Industrial Revolution and during the search for coal and minerals, it was realized that rocks appeared in layers or stratum, each of different composition from those layers above and below.
