A Biblical Foundation For Sociology

Author:
Paul A. Bartz

Modern sociology, which is based on evolution, cannot be "cleaned up" and made Christian. The very foundation of modern sociology is corrupt and anti-Christian. Sociologists hope to reach their goals by rewriting history and manipulating people into thinking they are right. When people see this, they realize that something is wrong. But the problem lies at the very foundations of sociology. Since it is based on evolution, sociology has no idea of the source or purposes of human practices and beliefs.

More than one Christian has pictured heaven as a place where the saved will lie about all day, perhaps strumming a harp while sitting on a cloud.  Many, at least, see heaven as one big permanent vacation.  But could we really be happy with nothing to do—forever?  Does the Bible portray work as a necessary evil which is a result of sin entering the world?

Are The Principles Of Our Creation Within Us?

Author:
Paul A. Bartz

Evolution, whether theistic or atheistic, requires the principles by which we have come into existence to be within ourselves. While the atheist believes that we can be explained on completely materialistic principles, the theistic evolutionist adds God at points in the process that don't seem explainable by strictly materialistic means. But the theistic evolutionist still leaves the initial evolution of the ape-like creature from which we supposedly came to internal material principles.
