Today's Creation Moment

Progress in Technology
Genesis 4:20-22
“And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as...
I was talking to a group of young children, perhaps 10 or 11 years old, and they were looking at a partly mud-covered house. This house had got covered in mud at the time of the 1980 eruption of...

Science Confronts Meditation Claims

Psalm 119:148
"Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word."

Many people promote meditation as harmless and healthful. Of course, growing interest in meditation cannot be separated from the increased popularity of Eastern and New Age religion.

Being Right About Right and Wrong

Romans 2:15
"Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another..."

Ethicists who believe in evolution are trying to figure out an evolutionary explanation for why people universally have a sense of right and wrong. This line of study is so new that it doesn't yet have a name, although some have suggested "neuroethics" or "moral neuroscience".

Looking for Life on Enceladus

John 5:39
"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

In an article titled "Excitement Builds for the Possibility of Life on Enceladus," a Scientific American writer begins with these words, "Saturn's frozen moon Enceladus is a tantalizing world – many scientists are increasingly convinced it may be the best place in our solar system to search for life."

Most Americans Are Pro-Academic Freedom

Acts 22:28
"And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born."

According to a nationwide survey conducted in 2016 by the Discovery Institute, most American adults agree that "teachers and students should have the academic freedom to objectively discuss both the scientific strengths and weaknesses of the theory of evolution." In fact, 88% agree that "scientists who raise scientific criticisms of evolution should have the freedom to make their arguments without being subjected to censorship or discrimination."

1 John 4:6
"We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error."

In a recent study of over 4,000 children in the United Kingdom and more than 1,420 children in the United States, researchers concluded that bullied children have similar or worse mental health problems later in life than those who have suffered emotional or even physical abuse.

Planned Parenthood's Roots in Darwinism

Proverbs 20:17
"Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel."

"Planned Parenthood, the leading government-funded abortion provider in the United States, has a history rooted in Social Darwinism, a sociological theory from evolution's doctrine of survival of the fittest."

Evolutionists – Masters of Mimicry

Ephesians 5:6
"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience."

While doing some research on how the non-venomous hognose snake is able to mimic the behaviors of the deadly rattlesnake, we happened to come across a website with an interesting article on biological mimicry.

Evolutionist Defends Pedophilia

Isaiah 5:20
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

As Creation Moments has pointed out in the past, evolution is a fundamental corruption of truth with far-reaching consequences – working to undermine and subvert morality, cultures and people.

The Death Knell of Christianity?

Psalm 2:4
"He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision."

"I think that evolution is absolutely the death knell of Christianity." No, those aren't my words. These words were spoken by atheist Frank Zindler, and they make it very clear what the origins debate is really all about. It is nothing less than the front line in the battle between two incompatible faiths.

Will It Blend?

Deuteronomy 12:32
"What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it."

For several years now, the humorous "Will It Blend?" videos on YouTube have entertained millions of viewers. In each video, a man wearing a white lab coat places an object into a blender and turns it on, demolishing iPhones, Coke cans, a pair of Nikes, and anything else you can imagine. One of the only objects he wasn't able to "blend" was a crowbar. He didn't even try.
