Since birds have been found in the fossil record earlier than they were expected, why don't scientists change their minds about which came first? They keep changing their mind about everything, anyway. Maybe scientists should say that birds got tired of flying around when their prey was on the ground, so they shed their wings and became lizards. After all, it's a lot of work to fly. Why fly if you don't have to?

Which came first, the alligator or the stork? Why, the stork, of course!
