I'm a scientist (Chemist) and for many years believed that God created all we see over long ages and drove the process of evolution. I think that's called Theistic Evolution. Only after a very hard look at my life and my faith and some serious Bible study did I finally realize that there was no death before sin and therefore the literal six days of creation took place exactly as written and less than 10,000 years ago. Now the more I study, the more obvious it is that we live in a young earth. To God be the glory!
