Honest scientists can be hard to come by. If they aren't influenced by the need for acceptance in their field, they often fall prey to other factors, such as misinterpretation of data to fit the evolutionary mindset. Of course, the outright lying is commonly practiced, as it was in the case of Lucy, which not only was represented to have human attributes not present in the skeleton, but also wasn't even female.

Evolution is NOT a fact. The fact is, scientists presuppose that rock is unaffected by its surroundings and therefore can be dated accurately by a set of preconceptions. The fact is, as today's creation moment pointed out, rocks are like sponges, not like vaults. They do not conform to a mythical state that suits evolutionary ideas, but they actually are affected by their environment. They lose certain elements and gain others over time.

And no, it doesn't take millions of years.
