I am a Christian and I love God's creativity and I marvel at His design in nature. But I must respond to the previous statement regarding our mandate to populate the Earth by multiplying. Well, we have and too much so. When the Lord said that the Earth was barren and needed to be populated. But you have to admit that the reason why so many are starving is because of too many people and not enough resources. It goes without saying that God does not want people to be irresponsible and to produce people that will not be provided for. Ignorance and sin are the main contributors to people starving and suffering. Most people who reproduce without possessing the resources to care for the children do so out of ignorance and an inability to resist the carnal nature. They simply give in to their urges and the result is another person born into poverty and misery. This is not what God had in mind when He said to multiply.
