While I agree that the Muslim world had input in the mathematics and science of this world, it is NOT the job of the head of NASA to confer with them about their contributions. He has a duty, yes a duty, to report to the American people, who have and are now supporting this space endeavor with our tax $$$$$.
It is not his place to make the Muslims 'feel good about their participation in these fields", they have their own to make them feel good about what they have done.

We have ceased to be the strongest nation in the world, to a downed nation, and according to our President, a country to be ashamed for standing for the right to exist. We have helped so many other countries, even those that opposed us, as the Muslims do, and we get slapped in the face by our own President whenever he speaks in other countries.

I for one don't agree that we need to apologize for anything...we are the United States of America, and we became strong because of our people standing behind our nation. We should stand now and be counted as one. God bless America!!!!!
