If you want to destroy people's faith, all you have to do is get them to question God's word. Genesis clearly shows what happens to those who disobey the Lord — they are cut off. Without a Savior, you would be lost forever. But if you ignore the message in Genesis, you can also ignore our need to repent and accept the commandments of the Lord. What need do you have to repent if transgressing God's law has no consequences?
