The Trojan Horse analogy is a good one and theistic evolution is a problem because people do not rightly divide the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15.) People also tend to add to the word of God which is contrary to the commandment in Revelation 22:18. The failure to believe that God has given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness as promised in II Peter 1:3 has opened the door to all kinds of unbelief, not just theistic evolution. The lie of evolution eliminates the need of God and is tied to the old lie of Satan who said ye shall be as gods and ye shall not surely die. So yes, I agree that theistic evolution is a growing problem within the church today and needs to be addressed by people being meek to the Word of God, like in James 1:21.
