The great difficulty of theistic evolution is this: For evolution to occur, there must be death. Death did not come until Gen 3:21 when God made garments of skin for Adam and Eve. Up to then, all food was provided by green plants (Gen 1:29-30). So how can evolution be happening if there is no "natural selection"? All animals were made by then, according to their kind. They were not evolving into any other kinds, nor was man evolving from apes. We know from Job 12:7-9 that even the animals know God has CREATED everything, but man has the breath of God in him - the monkeys do not.
