God Shows Us the Earth from Space
Job 26:7
“He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.”
The Earth floats in space, attached to nothing, surrounded by a thin layer of air. What science has only just learned, the Bible has taught for thousands of years! Yes, while other ancients pictured...

War Between Science and Faith?

Though evolutionists would have you believe there's a war between science and faith, the very idea of a conflict is preposterous! God designed everything and left us with a user manual. We should look at the world around us, use good science and interpret what we see in the light of Scripture. Does Scripture give us any clues as to what we are investigating? If so, we shouldn’t ignore it but use it to help us interpret our observations.

Many of the early modern scientists were Christians – like Galileo, Copernicus and Newton. Many would say that the church was stupid or at least ignorant in persecuting Galileo for saying that the Earth was not the center of our solar system – the implication being that the Earth is, therefore, not the center of the universe. The formal church back then was legalistic and rigid. But because these scientists were Christian and believed in a God of order, this drove them to look for the order in the universe in the first place. So the problem wasn’t a conflict between good science and faith, but between a legalistic religious system and a new or different understanding of the world around us.

Now it seems like there is more weight in science than in faith. Indeed, we are told that we must keep our faith out of the classrooms and our scientific institutions in order to do good science. Nothing could be further from the truth! This is a lie from the enemy of our soul to try to indoctrinate our children to not believe in God. How can you do good science if you do not believe that the stuff you are looking at is ordered and if you believe that it came about from chaos? Why perform any experiments at all if the next time you do it the results will be different? There is no point in it. So while many science professors say we must keep science and faith separate, they themselves can’t believe this. Otherwise, they would never go into the laboratory.

It all boils down to this: What do you put your faith in – science (man’s understanding of the world) or God’s Word?  As for me and everyone at Creation Moments, our trust is in God’s Word.
