Creation isn't appropriate for children? I suppose God isn't appropriate, either. So if God's not appropriate, then that means children should not be taught to be honest, fair, and compassionate to others. I have heard all the arguments about how man came up with ethics, but man's so-called ethics are just flexible behaviors that change when the mood strikes. Don't hand me that garbage about how man came up with righteousness. Man is a self-centered, egotistical jerk. Most men operate by breaking God's laws. They certainly didn't write God's laws, although it is true they have tried to eliminate them.

Don't be deceived. The entire reason Mr. Nye and others like him object to the teaching of creation is because they want to disobey God without feeling uncomfortable about the consequences. They think they can eliminate their conscience by pretending God doesn't exist and teaching others to ignore facts and go with a non-God theory.

By the way, creation is historical fact. It is not an "ism," which is a denotation for philosophies and theories. Again, creation is historical fact. It should never have an "ism" added on. Add the "ism" to evolution, which is a theory so bereft of fact that only a really illogical person could ever believe it.
