I wear a white coat and scrubs to work, so when I was stopped on the way and asked, "Are you a vet?" I thought he was asking whether I was a veterinarian; so I said, "No, I'm an MD." Then he said, "Well, I wondered if you're a veteran, since you have an American flag on your lapel, and this is Veteran's Day." I was embarrassed that I had misunderstood his question, and said, "Actually, yes, I am a veteran of both the Navy and the Air Force, and thank you for remembering Veteran's Day!"

The point? Context is everything. Richard Dawkins is so well known as an anti-creationist that many people reading this site would immediately think of "Richard" when we see "Dawkins." We also think of only one Darwin, Charles, not George.

If Karen is using her real name, why should anyone feel they were misled by the headline? And wouldn't it be wonderful if Richard Dawkins's wife, son, daughter, or other relative believed in Biblical creation? We should pray that all the Dawkins of the world come to know the true Creator, the One who gave His life for them.
