What Anemones Hear
While it's pretty easy to find an elephant's ear, it’s not at all easy to find a frog's ear. But how would you like to be one of the scientists who had to look for a sea anemone's ear!
Early scientists described their work as "thinking God’s thoughts after Him." Those of us who believe in the Creator would agree and leave the evolutionists to try to fit all living things into their simple-to-complex scheme.
The recent discovery that the supposedly very "simple" sea anemone has a more complex "ear" than any other creature, is one such example. In fact, scientists remain mystified at how the sea anemone can hear certain sounds that are beyond any other known creature's hearing. The discovery that sea anemones can hear was released only recently by scientists who were studying how anemones knew when to fire their microscopic, poisonous darts to kill their prey. They found that anemones not only hear, they can hear a huge range of frequencies by doing something no other creature can do; change the frequency range that their hearing receptors - which are similar to ours - can pick up.
Our Creator is a God Who communicates. The Bible tells how He communicated with each of His creatures at the time of creation. But the Bible is His communication to you and me this very day!
