One of the most persistent rumors of popular evolutionary mythology is the concept of a primitive Stone Age. While serious evolutionists do not view such a time in the same way as the popular...

The Year In Review

Christmas/End of Year, 2012

Dear Friends,

How fitting that we should close out each year with the grand and glorious Christmas season! As each year ends, we are reminded of what truly matters.

Even though we have such crass commercialism in modern society, the silver lining is that the world is bombarded with Christmas – the idea of “the Christmas spirit”, the sentiments of joy and peace and hope and love, reunions with family, the giving of gifts because giving is a good thing and God gave us Jesus.

And then the year comes to an end, and people make assessments about the past year, with reappraisals and resolutions for the new year, another start – right on the heels of  the remembrance of the advent of Jesus Christ, God’s gift and hope for us all!

But a culture of unbelief, reinforced by evolutionism, has made people doubt First Principles like Creation and the Ten Commandments – in short, to doubt the entire Bible, its revelation of God’s grace and its commandments for good and healthy living. And the result is that unhealthy actions follow the unbelief, leading to unhealthy life choices and habits – because our evolution-influenced culture does not want to believe the Bible.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the maxim – “Sow a thought, reap an action. Sow an action, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a legacy.” And here, even Bible-believing Christians can be influenced by our evolutionized society, where traditions and First Principles are continually bombarded with debunking in favor of a self-centered, so-called “scientific rationality” (translation: skepticism and ridicule unless endorsed by an “approved” scientific group).

At Creation Moments we stand against this onslaught of unbelief cultivated by evolutionism. And I’m pleased to report that we’ve made much progress in the past year with the tools of ministry that you have made possible!

  • We’ve produced many new “Creation Moments” programs and sent radio stations materials enabling them to broadcast 625,000 minutes of programming. We now make more than 1,600 different programs of our flagship radio broadcast available to stations all over the world.
  • We began a new radio feature, with board member Dr. Don Clark as a Monday-morning regular on the Broken Road Radio broadcast. We also added a new section to our website called “Dr. Don on Creation”. This is in addition to our regular blog and Facebook presence among many other ways to utilize the Creation Moments website.
  • Our Hispanic audience programming showed very strong growth this year, with “Creation Moments” translated and produced into “Momentos de la Creacion” and broadcast over 25 stations, four networks and 14 repeaters. The broadcast reaches the Southern US, Mexico, Spain and the Caribbean as well as South and Central America.
  • We’ve expanded our outreach to young people this year, coming up with a new resource called Scrambled Scriptures. And we’re hard at work on creating a brand new radio broadcast targeted at youth – Creation Moments Minute. We are planning on rolling this out early in 2013.

Thanks to you and others who believe in what we’re doing, Creation Moments has been giving families and churches a wide range of free resources showing that the entire Bible can be trusted – from the first word of Genesis to the last word of Revelation. This year I am happy to report we’ve heard from many people all over the world who have been touched by our ministry:

“Thank you for the daily Creation Moments, both on radio and by email. They are excellent for all ages and present a balanced view of God’s Creation. Thank you again for all that you have done, are doing and will continue to do to bring honor to our awesome Creator.” - B.T.

“Thank you more than I can say for sharing the many insights that you do on a daily basis. Most of us, even if we had the time, wouldn’t know where or how to research what you provide to us!” - E.S.

“I’m a missionary in China and I love getting your Creation Moments emails every day. Don’t ever quit, keep proclaiming the truth. It gives me information, direction, gets me thinking, and strengthens me and those I pass it on to.” - D.R.

Remember, they’re not just thanking us … they’re also thanking everyone who prays for us and supports our ministry. As you know, Creation Moments depends entirely on the prayers and financial support of our faithful friends. So this Christmas won’t you please give to the work that God has called us to do?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Mark Cadwallader, Board Chairman
