“What Did You Do in the War, Daddy?”

st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) }

Imagine for a moment that you're a student who wants to watch a video about God creating the heavens and the earth. You go to YouTube, enter the search term "creationism" and click the SEARCH button.

As you look at the first page of results, you discover that ALL of the videos are attacks on creationism. Apparently, atheists and Darwinists are busy with their evangelistic efforts. And they're effective, judging from the fact that some of their videos have been viewed by over a million people. You see nearly 40 different videos under the headings "Foundational Falsehoods of Creationism" and "Evidence for Evolution and Against Creationism." You also find a multi-part series titled "Why Do People Laugh at Creationists?" as well as videos with such titles as "Creationist Junk Debunked." Where are the creationism videos?

So you enter a new search term: "anti-evolution." Do you find creationism videos there? Nope. You find videos that atheists and evolutionists have made about the Dover trial - which evolutionists won - as well as many other videos that ridicule creationists and attack the Bible.

We're not saying there are no creationism videos on YouTube. In fact, you'll find videos from Creation Moments and other ministries if you look hard enough. But it's clear that evolutionists and atheists have grabbed the "ball" and have no intention of letting go.

We feel that Christians need to wake up to the fact that atheists and evolutionists are very active in promoting their "faith" and that Christians need to become active foot soldiers in this war that we cannot afford to lose. And yet, many Christians are complacent and have never gotten engaged in the battle. Years from now - when Christian evangelism has been labeled "hate speech" and is illegal - what will you say when your children ask: "What did you do in the war, Daddy?"

I agree. I have tried to instill in my children the truth of creationism, but I could use some ideas.

I agree. Let's get creative. How about Christian teachers assigning creation of a video as one option for a class assignment?

I've noticed that on YouTube the attacks on creation are often labeled with titles that make them sound as if they are in support of creation. So evolutionists not only rage all over the site, but they trick you into watching videos that are worthless.

There is one video, though, titled "The Dawkins Delusion," which is worth watching. It's a hilarious parody on the prominent evolutionist Richard Dawkins. More videos like that can really emphasize how silly evolutionary theory is.

Speaking of Christians becoming active foot soldiers in this war against evolutionary falsehood, I'd like to see more articles and videos on evidence in the Bible that dinosaurs coexisted with man.

Although the behemoth has been mentioned as a probable dinosaur, what I have yet to see is anything on the leviathan, which sounds exactly like a fire-breathing dinosaur, otherwise known as a dragon.

"His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal ... Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth." (Job 41:15, 20-21)

I don't think the Lord was teaching Job a lesson with a nonexistent, fabled creature, but with a creature that Job had seen and was familiar with. Otherwise, why did the Lord bother to mention it along with lions, ravens, goats, the wild ass, and other existing creatures?

Yes, the description of leviathan is actually a symbol for Satan, that old serpent, but I am convinced that it was a creature Job had actually seen and which was a known menace to the human population. It's exactly like the Lord to use familiar things to teach his people an object lesson, which, in this case, was that nothing was too big for the Lord to overcome.
