Why Are You?
Genesis 1:27
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
When you know who made something and why it was made, you know the purpose of the item. That's true of can openers, and it is true of human life. Anyone who doesn't know who designed us or why is...

Grand Deception About the Grand Canyon

All of us have heard that the Grand Canyon was carved out of solid rock by the slow movement of water in the Colorado River. But does this really make any sense at all?
Have there been any observations that can suggest that the trickle (in comparison) of the Colorado River can carve through solid rock while mighty rivers like the Mississippi or the Amazon don't carve anything of the sort? And I don't recall the river beds of those rivers being solid rock.
So what does the science show? It favors lots of water over a short period of time. It does NOT point to a little water over a very long period of time. And for the record, it is the science based off studying Noah's Flood that has made us understand this. This is more evidence that the Bible had it right from the beginning.
Many major science discoveries were founded simply by reading the Bible. The one that stands out the most for me is Matthew Maury’s discovery of the ocean currents. He read the Psalms which talks about the currents ... and he found them, just as the Bible said.
We are still waiting for science to catch up to the Bible. I’m sure we'll be waiting quite a while.

The Grand Canyon was carved by the action of massive waters moving in the global flood. Today's so-called science actually has been moving swiftly backwards, as it no longer seeks to find what is, but seeks to reinterpret data to deny there is a God.

It really is quite pitiful to see the deterioration of intelligence and education in today's generation. Of course, they vaunt themselves above former generations, but anyone with half an ounce of sense can read what the educated of former days wrote and see wisdom there that is absent today. Why? Formerly most people had enough sense to know that the Bible was recorded history. They would accept eye-witness accounts and written history as a basis from which to work. They knew that basing your whole science on a desire to deny Biblical facts would yield erroneous results.
